My Shiny New Pendant

Happy New Years Eve to you all! I hope you have had a wonderful Christmas season. My husband's family left Saturday morning and now it's back to reality. I hate when the fun is over, but luckily my husband has a couple more days off work, so I guess there is still time for more fun to be had!

I have had my eyes on the Eldridge Pendant from Ballard Designs for a very long time. When we bought our house earlier this year I knew it had to go over the dining table, I just didn't know how I was going to pay for it. The pendant that was there before wasn't bad, but once I got the board and batten up, it felt like it really needed an upgrade. Then a couple months before Christmas I saw that all lighting was 20% off. That was something I just couldn't pass up! So, Merry Christmas / happy Birthday to me!
I was debating about whether I should get the medium or the large size. The large is significantly more expensive, but in the end I decided it was worth it. I'm so glad I went with the big one, it makes a great statement when you walk in the door.

I love that it has clean lines and a simple design, but still makes such a huge impact in the space.

Basically, I love it!
