Brass Lamp Love

I came across this picture a while ago and immediately fell in love. All the color, all the books, that dinosaur on the top shelf, the organized chaos; it all just makes me smile. The thing that catches my eye the most in this space though, is that beautiful brass lamp. I have really been admiring brass desk lamps lately, I just can't get enough. I love how they can add an old world feel to a modern space.

How pretty is this office?! Again, with the brass lamp! It is such a great accent to the white walls and colorful artwork.

 I've been a huge fan of lantern pendant lights lately. I think they are so classy and timeless, and I love them! I would love to put one over my dining table, I'll just add that to my never ending list!

Thank you Target

I've had my eyes on a particular lamp base from Target for a while now, but I'm just too dang cheap to spend $55 on that. But yesterday as I was strolling through the home aisles I spotted that guy on the clearance aisle for $25. So of course I did what any great mother would do and put back the big box of diapers I had so I could fit the lamp in my cart. That's normal right? It fits perfectly on my entry table, and I love it!

I wasn't excited just because I got the lamp that I wanted, I was also excited because this sad little table has been used as a catch all for junk for the last few months. It finally has some sort of styling and purpose.

Money Saving Monday- Pendant Lights

It's Monday again, I hate that! The weekend always go by so fast. My weekend was fabulous, full of pumpkin patches, my mama's famous sticky buns, and uplifting messages at General Conference. It's also finally feeling a little more like Fall and I love it!
