First impressions

The thing I notice first about a home is usually the front door. I think a front door can really make or break the exterior of a house, and can add great value. The entrance really sets the tone for the house and should be a continuation of the style. It's totally ok, and actually a pretty good idea, to do something unexpected. Doors don't always have to be white. A fabulous door will make guests anticipate what is behind it. Here's a few examples of doors that I love.
