I was enlisted to help update a little girls room for a 13 year old girl. The goal was to create something more mature than the bright pink everything that she currently has going on. Here's what I came up with. I think it is definitely a room that she can grow with.
Pink is still a favorite color, so taking it out completely was not an option, and I'm totally ok with that. I was able to make the space feel more mature by cutting back on and toning down the pink. Adding gold accents will also help the space to feel less little girly and more teenagery (that's a word right?).
The inspiration for this space was this picture that I also shared on Friday. I brought in the pretty pale blue chairs by selecting a similar paint color for the walls.
