Hidden pops of color

Color can add so much to a space. But, not everyone can handle lots of color, it can be a little intimidating. Sometimes all a room needs is a little unexpected pop of color. Here are some ways to add a little touch without making it too overbearing.

Paint the top of some floating shelves. How fun is that? You don't even know it's there until you get up close.

Painting the inside of a door would make answering it so much more exciting!

Kirsten from 6th Street Design School painted the inside of frames in her sons room. That is such a great way to add some interest to a typical picture frame.

  2. Love these ideas! Especially because I'm one of those people that are scared of committing to color in my home.

  3. As someone who typically likes softer, neutral colors, I'm a big fan of the "pop of color!" I really like all of these ideas as well as painting the inside of a white bookcase :)

  4. Ooooh I love this idea! Normally, I prefer neutrals but I often find myself wanting to experiment with brights - these are perfect for me (I especially love the idea of painting the inside of a door)!
