We have one semi-long hallway in our house, and until about a week ago it was very empty and very boring. We've only been in the house for three months though, so it's really not as lame as it sounds. I knew I wanted to do a gallery wall, it just took a while to gather all the frames and pictures that I needed to get it done. It really didn't take long once I got started, just a couple trips to store get frames, and a trip to Costco to pick up my pictures. And I am happy to report that there are only a couple extra nail holes in the wall. I would call that a major success!
I would have loved to do more and add some pictures down lower, or even do the entire wall, but the thought of my little destructo baby getting his hands on those frames put a huge damper on my plans. One day I can have nice things and a wall full of pictures.
I love it! I am impressed. I have been wanting to make a gallery on our staircase, and we have been in our house for 1.5 years!! I need to get a move on. It really looks great though =)
ReplyDeleteLooks great! I really love gallery walls. I'd say you did really well to get it done in 3 months. We are going on 2 years in our house and I'm just finishing up our first gallery wall...

ReplyDeletethis really makes me want to go out and buy frames and decorate our bare walls! we just moved to our house three months ago, and we don't have anything hanging. it's starting to drive me crazy.
