Inspiration Boards

Before we had the internet to store all of our inspiration on, people actually pinned these things to their real walls. Pinterest is great and all, however I still love the good ol' fashion pin board to display all your inspiration and brilliant ideas. There's just something so artistic and well, inspirational about inspiration boards that you can put actual pictures and fabric samples on. I still love looking through magazines, the paper kind, and ripping out pictures that I love. Little things like that make me happy.

Maybe one day

Ok I have a confession, there's something that I'm not very good at that I really wish I was (well actually there are lots of things I'm not very good at, but I don't really care to be good at those)... it's called organization. You see whenever I see gorgeously organized offices and storage spaces online or in magazines I think three things: 1) how do they do that 2) I wish I could do that and 3) there's no way that it stays like that, it has to just be for the picture, nobody is really THAT organized. Please tell me I am not alone on that last one, or if I am alone, just humor me.

Anyway, whenever I think about all the things I have left to put away and organize from our move I get too overwhelmed and start doing something else, like making cookies, so obviously there are still boxes shoved in corners and piled in our future office. But seeing all these spaces has definitely inspired me to get started! I am so excited for the day when I can have a neatly organized office with beautifully styled bookshelves, and not a pen out of place; and trust me, it will probably only last for a day :)
